About the Dexter group

Formed in the Autumn of 2003, we are an active network of Dexter Cattle breeders and enthusiasts living within the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. We are a mixed bunch of folks from all walks of life but sharing a common interest - Dexter Cattle.  The aim of the Group is to encourage suitable breeding of Dexter Cattle and promote the virtues of the breed to the general public.

We meet periodically at different members' holdings to view their stock, discuss their management, beef sales and any other topical items. Advice and encouragement is freely offered to new or potential Dexter keepers.
